Pizza, a Puppy, and a Princess!

Last night was Pizza Night at the Slaydon Castle, and the Princess had her very first slice of pizza! She looked at it for a minute and then dove right in!! She at the black olives and the bacon first (she gets that from her Momma!), and then picked off everything else bit by bit!! It was so fun to watch her eat it because she was really enjoying every bite!

She is the BIG CHEESE!! (She gets that from her Daddy!) I love that goofy grin!!.

After supper, we went outside to relax, since the weather was so nice and cool! Abigail and her Daddy played with Hopper for the longest time! Hopper was a little wary at first, but before long the Princess was covered with puppy kisses! She smelled like a little goat-roper when we went in!

Even Hopper was smiling!! He loves Miss Abigail! He wouldn't stay still long enough for a good picture!

This is what Her Majesty looked like getting dressed this morning! Her Daddy had to stop and take her picture. She is so silly!!

Abigail had so much fun playing with Nana and PawPaw and Aunt Cheryl and Uncle Casey this afternoon!! They came over for supper, and the Princess couldn't even eat, she was so excited!! They played peek-a-boo and read books and just had a good 'ole time!! Abigail says come back soon!! She is so sleepy from playing so hard! Maybe she'll sleep good tonight (please, Lord!).

Somehow, these pictures are in reverse order, but I'm tired, and it really doesn't matter anyway...Pardon me for saying it for the gazillionth time, but isn't the Princess getting more beautiful every day?? I am just so in awe of this amazing gift we've been blessed with.

This first pic is from today, after church! Sorry, no perfect poses, but still a beautiful girl! She played so hard in the nursery and didn't have a nap until we went to Wal-Mart afterwards...I, on the other hand, got no nap at all...
The pic below was taken by Aunt Madeline of Abigail watching for Momma and Daddy to get home from the Hunter's Safety class on Saturday! Aunt Madeline said she just stood at the door and waited patiently for us!

Miss Priss loves to look at herself in the mirror--I would, too, if I was that beautiful! She's not vain; she just knows what looks good!!

This last picture was taken by Daddy on Friday! Apparently, she was not only in the dishwasher, she somehow got in the toilet, too??? I probably don't even want to know what goes on when I'm not here--there's no telling!! Oh, well, they have fun, and she's gonna be one tough cookie!!

#1 Crazy Flying Indian Girl!

Here's the Princess "flying" with the help of her Daddy! She loves anything scary or dangerous or crazy--I swear, as much as she's my Princess, she's my daredevil tomboy, too! Kinda reminds me of her cousin Allie!

One little, two little, three little Indians...

Miss Priss has recently learned how to make that Indian War Cry, and boy, does she do it well! She can do it herself, but she doesn't mind you doing it to her or vice versa...And she can do it really loud!! She's really beginning to mimic everything that everybody else does, which is really funny. And when she plays Peek-a-Boo, she says "Pie-Pie" (for peep-pie)! She's just so much fun!

"Abigail, YOU are #1!" This is what we tell her whenever she starts pointing that finger!! She does that all the time!! She will point at you and then raise her hand up as if to say, "You are number one!" But she's always #1 with us!! You may notice that her highchair does not have a cover on it...I'll save you the gory details, but let's suffice it to say that she and Daddy had some cleaning up to do yesterday!!! You'll have to ask Justin about what happened--I think he's still traumatized!!

Ravioli, Vanilla Pudding, and Company

It's always fun trying out new food on the Princess. She's a really good eater, but lately, she's been automatically spitting out the first bite of anything she eats...Today we tried the Micro Ravioli. Too funny! She spit it out, so we ate a few bites of peas before I tried it again. The next time, she sucked the sauce off, then spit out the ravioli. This eventually led me to the conclusion that it's the texture of the ravioli she hates, not the taste. But after I picked up several pieces off of my freshly mopped floor, I decided to stick with the peas. Later, we tried some vanilla pudding for a snack. I should've known--the first bite is still somewhat smeared into the carpet...But she opened wide after that, and now she loves vanilla pudding--too funny!

Abigail was very happy to visit with her Nana and Aunt Cheryl this afternoon! She had just woken up from her afternoon beauty rest when they stopped by. She was so happy to see them! She has been missing her Nana so bad! She looks at her picture and says, "Hey, Nana"! She is also very excited for her PawPaw to be home this week. She sure misses him when he's gone! Abigail has been having fun with her Aunt Madeline, though, and loves hanging out with her when she's home!!

The last few days...

have been pretty busy, no time for posts! We've been all over doing all sorts of things, and Miss Abigail and I are just going to relax today and do some housework (okay, relaxing may be a bit of a stretch...). Here are a few pics from the last few days around the Slaydon Kingdom. My girl is getting so big, it's hard to believe she'll almost be a year old! She is just learning and growing so fast...I'm so glad that she's healthy and happy, but I'm a little sad that she's not a baby anymore. I see Claire and Aryana and how big they're getting, and I know it won't be long before Abigail is heading off to school...

Anyway...we're gonna get started on our chores so we can visit with Aunt Madeline and Nana this afternoon!

Here is Miss Abigail trying out her Daddy's duck call--she hasn't quite figured it out yet, but she sure likes the sound it makes when Daddy does it!

Miss Priss loves to play peek-a-boo around the coffee table--it's her favorite game! We play it for hours on end, literally! She thinks it is hilarious when you pop up on the other side of the table and "scare" her!

The Princess loves to rock!! This is Justin's rocking chair from when he was little--isn't it precious?! Thank you, MeMe, for sending it home with me! Abigail also has a rocking chair that is just her size at Nana and PawPaw's that she loves!! Now she can rock in two places! Abigail had lots of fun this week playing with her MeMe and Aunt Candice and Aryana! And she is very excited to get to hang out with Aunt Madeline for a few weeks!
