Goofy Girl

Nothing new or exciting to report today, but some people (Aunt Deb) get a little testy if we miss a day! So here you go, my goofy Princess!

Momma's Little Helper!

Miss Abigail loves to help her Momma and her Nana fold clothes! She is a very good helper--she takes all of the clothes out of the basket and hands them to Momma to fold! She loves to help whenever she can! After all that hard work, she had to kick back and relax in Momma's chair! What a sweet girl!

Sunday

As you can see, we've had quite a busy day!! First, Miss Abigail had to get ready for church, so she borrowed Daddy's toothbrush to get those pearly whites super clean! Then she was all decked out and ready to go! After church, she and Momma took a good nap on the couch! When she woke up, her hair was plastered to her head and curling everywhere! Then it was back to church for Kid's Night with the water slide! Abigail didn't slide herself, but she had lots of fun with Me Me and Aunt Candice watching Aryana slide! (If you can't tell, she's wearing one of those all-in-one jumpsuits like I used to wear in the 80s--too cute!!) She fell asleep on her puppy on the way home, and I just had to capture that moment before I had to awaken Sleeping Beauty!! She has cut her first tooth, and as soon as she'll let me see inside her mouth, I'll have the facinating photos to prove it!!

Watermelon, Watermelon

It's watermelon season here in SWLA, and nothing beats a good ol' Sugartown watermelon!! Abigail enjoyed her first taste of watermelon over the weekend (thanks Uncle Dane!), and she loved it! She wasn't so sure about the texture, but she kept coming back for more. The first pic is one her Daddy snapped of her waiting for him to finish cooking the gumbo so he could play with her! Isn't she sweet?! Sigh...so exhausting being a Princess...

Workin' On My Blog...

Apparently, Abigail was not content with the way Momma was doing her blog, so she decided to help out! She was sitting beside me, when all of a sudden, she just pulled herself right up and began tapping on the keys...Guess I'm out of a job! What a big girl!

Popsicle Princess

Miss Abigail loves her popsicles! They're especially good now, because it's so hot and because we're getting some big girl teeth! Won't be long until we're ready for a pork chop!

Friday Night

So this is what a wild Friday night looks like in Cole Central! The Princess first decided to prop her leg up and relax while eating supper...must be a new trick she just learned...

Then Her Silliness decided to play peek-a-boo while getting ready for her bath. She is just so funny. You never know what she's gonna do next! She is starting to pull up a little, but of course we didn't catch that on camera...Stay Tuned...

Abigail has spent the last few days with her Aunt Madeline, and she has had such a good time! She loves her Aunt Madeline---she could just eat her up!!

Twinkle Toes!

Even a Princess loves to get her feet dirty every once in awhile, and mine is no exception...She looks so pretty in her dresses and bows, but you just can't beat that crusted-on food smile and dirty feet! Oh well, at least her toenails are still painted--sort-of...

Princess Crazy Hair

It's not that we have a lot going on here, but my ladybug is just so cute that I have to share her cutie-patootie pictures! It's so hard to choose when you have such a photogenic child!! Her Daddy fixed her hair las night, so this is what she looked like when she woke up this morning--don't know if we'll ever get it to lay down! The other pic is my princess eating her pickles--one of her favorites!

Happy Birthday to Aunt Deb!!

Hi to Aunt Jimmie up in Colorado!! We missed you!!

This past weekend was the annual Read Reunion, held this year at the Woodmen of the World Camp in Forest Hill, LA. It was Abigail's first reunion (outside the womb), and she had a blast. She got to meet lots of aunts, uncles, and cousins and put on quite the show for everyone! She also went swimming for the first time (outside of the bathtub) and now her Daddy and I have to figure out how we're gonna afford a pool!! She loved it and didn't want to get out! In my opinion, she's just the cutest bathing beauty ever! She also danced with Paw Paw Jerry and helped Aaron and Dean out with the auction. Everyone agreed that she is very much the Princess! She was so good all weekend, but she was sure glad to be home, where she and Daddy enjoyed a good ol' sour pickle!! My Princess loves her pickles, just like her Daddy!
