Around the house...

We've enjoyed having a few extra days off this past weekend. Momma and Daddy got to go on a date Saturday night, we enjoyed a laid-back 4th, and we worked on one of the deer stands and put up some more salsa on Tuesday. It was a good combination of restful and productive!!

Tuesday, while Justin and I were making salsa all day, Abigail entertained herself as long as she could stand it. Aunt Courtney came to play with her for awhile, but we were in the kitchen most of the day.

She apparently grew tired of not being the center of attention, so she decided to move into the kitchen. And I do mean, MOVE IN!!

She got her toys and her cup and her Nunny and her nooner, packed it all in the cabinet, and settled her cute little behind on in!! She definitely made her point!!

When we got back from moving the deer stand, we were soaking wet, due to the not-so-sudden downpour! I jumped in the shower, thinking that Justin would grab Abigail when he got changed. WRONG!!

So she decided to help herself to Momma's makey while no one was looking!

She actually did a pretty good job and managed to keep the eyeliner on her eye!!

The face in the picture is because she was embarrassed, not because we fussed at her...

we couldn't, we were laughing too hard!!

Happy 4th of July!!

We had a nice family nap afterwards, followed by a swim and a yummy steak dinner!

After all that, it was time for some fireworks!!

Watermelons!

We've had a very busy week this week--seems like the days flew by!!

Thursday night, we went to help PawPaw and Uncle Dane pull

watermelons out at Mr. Grady's field! It was a lot of work, but a lot of fun, too!

I don't think any of us had a dry thread on when we got done!
