After much research and preparation, we decided to try out the ol' 50 cal. this evening!
I was a little nervous, especially since neither Justin nor I had ever shot a muzzle-loader before!!
Abigail was not nervous at all--just excited!
I can see we're gonna be investing in one of those pink cap guns pretty soon...
She got to sit on Daddy's truck while we set everything up!

Justin went first in case of explosion or the severing of limbs or something.
Thankfully, we all still have all of our parts!!

It didn't kick nearly as bad as I thought, but that smoke'll choke ya!!
Not too bad for our first time! Guess we'll just have to practice some more!!!
