Momma Got a Deer!!

Abigail was so excited this morning when Momma killed a deer!

She looked at it and said, "Deer's got a bo-bo, Momma!" Yes, baby, she sure does!!

She was telling the deer to say Cheese!!

Mommas Say the Funniest Things...

We've all heard the saying, "Kids say the darnedest things!" So true, but I'm pretty sure us Momma's say some of the funniest things I've ever heard! These days especially, I find myself saying things that don't even make sense in response to something my precious little 2 year old has done or said...

For example:

"That is not Hopper's pop-tart! He has his own!"

"We don't lick the swingset!"

"Please don't hug the trash, baby..."

"ABIGAIL ELIZABETH--get your hand out of Hopper's hiney!!"

These are all just from today...I guess I need to make a more extensive list soon...

Love my girl! She always keeps me on my toes!!

Happy Birthday, Elizabeth Ann Brown Hennigan! We know you are probably having the best party up there!! We miss you so much and think of you every day. Thank you for being the most wonderful woman and Momma ever! Love you forever!

THE FAIR--Day Two!!

We had so much fun last night, we came back today for more!!

Look at my big girl riding that 4-wheeler all by herself!!

That thing went really fast, and we didn't let her ride it last night because we were scared she would fall off or get scared. As you can see, our fears were unfounded:

So excited to ride the Hopper again!!

Last night they wouldn't let me ride with her, today they made me!!

Different strokes for different carnies, I guess...

Miss Priss is not one to touch the animals (except Hopper), but she was all excited to pet the Nunnies!! Her Daddy keeps trying to get me to let "her" get one...we'll see.

The 'copter was one of her favorite rides, right behind the 4-wheeler, so we rode it again!

She posed and waved the whole time!!

All that fairin' is hard on a girl!

She was out before we got to the first red light!

She woke up soon after we got home, though, and she was raring to go again!!

Can't wait til next year--what fun we will have!!

THE FAIR--Day One!!

It's FAIR TIME!!

The Beauregard Parish Fair is back in town, and boy were we excited!!

(Ab had no idea what the fair was, but she was thrilled anyway!)

We went last night and met up with Nana and PawPaw and Cricket and Levi.

Abigail and Levi had fun riding the rides and seeing all the sights!

I took this one when we were getting her out.

She was saying, "What IS that??"

Riding the big one-eared Hopper!!

She caught a big fish--which translated into a fuzzy duck!

She got to ride a real pony, which she wasn't too sure about, but it was okay as long as Daddy was there to hold on to her!

She LOVED the hobby horses, and they went FAST!!

We thought she'd pass out on the way home, so we brought her pj's and got her all comfy...

and then she jabbered all the way home about the 'copter and the horsies...

And then she went right to bed when we got home...

And then she was up at 4am.

Oh, well.

Rub-a-Dub-Dub!!

Happy Second Birthday, Abigail!!

Happy 2nd Birthday to my very best girl!!

Today was a wonderful day, full of family and friends!!

Abigail is one very blessed little girl to have so many people come to celebrate her birthday or send their cards, call her on the phone, or even write her on Facebook!!

She wasn't too sure about all the singing, but after a while, she allowed it to continue...

She loved her cowgirl hat, one of many wonderful presents!!

I don't know where we are going to put everything...

I am very proud of these cupcakes!!

A big thanks to MyMy for all of her help with the party!!

Our best estimate was around 45 revelers in our humble abode today!!
